Roo hurts woman

A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a run-in with a kangaroo at Arundel.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics were called to Arundel Place about 9.10am on Friday.

They treated a woman, of an undisclosed age, for multiple cuts to her head, face and legs, a QAS spokeswoman said.

She was taken to Pindara Private Hospital in a stable condition. QAS was not able to provide more information about the circumstances of the incident.
