CREATIVELY CONNECTING THE PIECES
ART breathes art. Inspiration fuels inspiration and the buzz of imagination is bound to strike anyone in its path.
Such was our experience when we met this creative soul, Tania Blanchard, and saw her passion for colour and texture:
“I have a purpose-built studio out the back of my property, so this is where I create.
“I am on the lookout for a new gallery but I’m really enjoying working from home at the moment with my teenage kids nearby.
“I’ve actually been commissioned to produce three large-scale works that will hang in the foyer of a new art residence overlooking the vibrant Gold Coast arts hub HOTA.
“The pieces will depict what it means to be an integral part of this community through subdued colours and a feeling of connection.
“I’m so honoured to be part of this project.
“Some of my earlier pieces were featured on The Block a few years back and that helped me gain initial exposure.
“Through Instagram and also via my website I’ve commissioned works to places around the world so I feel grateful
for loyal followers.
“The future? I am planning another solo exhibition shortly so that’s really exciting.”
