Giants need to win to stay in the finals race

There are three wins between first and last after eight rounds of the Super Netball series. That’s good news for the bottom teams because top-four security does not exist. The Giants are clinging on to fourth spot after their derby defeat to the Swifts last week and they now have the unenviable task of hosting a Vixens side that only trails the ladder-leading Fever on percentages. The Vixens totally outplayed the Giants when they met earlier in the season and will again look to Liz Watson to dominate the middle of the court.
