Meds taken in robbery

POLICE are searching for an armed robber who held up workers at a chemist.

A man approached staff with what appeared to be a handgun at a pharmacy on Olsen Ave, Parkwood, on Thursday night.

He left after stealing medication.

No-one was injured. The robber was wearing a surgical mask, dark-hooded jumper and light-coloured track pants.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw the hold-up, has dashcam or relevant CCTV footage from their business, to come forward.
