Gala for our people

THE glitz and glamour of the New York Met Gala is coming to The Star tonight, refashioned to fundraise for Serving our People, a pandemic-born service that gets essential items to those in need across South East Queensland and northern NSW.

Delivering anything from medicine to the sick, baby formula to a mother or groceries to the elderly, the charity brings together a team of 1100 on-the-ground volunteers.

The invite-only gala features a charity auction where the itlist can bid on an Audi Q3 and a $30,000 media package.
