MISSY PENS EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER

-

MISSY Robinson’s life has been some journey. Her backstory is a daunting one – a sexual assault while in the army, bipolar, PTSD and massive weight gain.

Deciding to take charge of her life she became a mental health ambassador for SANE Australia and lost 52kg.

Now she is charting her journey in the form of a book which she hopes will be a help to others.

“Initially, it was to be a simple guide about my weight loss but as I was writing it turned into so much more,” said Missy.

“I get quite raw about my mental health journey, who I was before the army and how the sexual assault changed the course of my life and the roller coaster I have been on ever since.

“The biggest thing is how therapeutic sharing my story has been, how much I’ve grown and learnt along the way. I’m also doing a calendar, 12 Months of Missy, with all proceeds going to SANE.”

If you thought that was all, Missy is also going to start an Onlyfans page to share her journey of self-love and body appreciation after her dramatic weight loss.

“It has been empowering to embrace a more sexual and bodyconfident side of myself and hopefully share that message with other women who have endured and survived.”

One very strong woman.
