Doomben 10,000 placegetters Paulele and Entriviere are battling for favouritism in the Group 1 Kingsford Smith Cup (1300m) at Eagle Farm. Godolphin colt Paulele opened favourite after the barrier draw, but punters have since rallied for Kiwi mare Entriviere despite drawing barrier 17 (13 if none of the emergencies gains a start). Paulele has drawn more favourably in eight, with 16 set to jump. Epsom Handicap winner Private Eye will find the drier track more to his liking. Isotope and Apache Chase lead the local charge.
