Cup barrier redraw no issue for Zaaki

Superstar import Zaaki has had to wait an extra week in his bid for back-to-back success in the Doomben Cup (2000m), which will now be run at Eagle Farm. The seven-year-old was handed the widest barrier in the 10horse field after the cup redraw, but it shouldn’t make a difference for the $1.45 favourite. Eight of the nine rivals who were set to take on Zaaki last weekend have accepted again, including four from Chris Waller, who has replaced Kolding with Yonkers. Polly Grey and Huetor are next best in the market.
