What time do you wake on a Saturday?

I wake up about 5.30am every day, Saturday would usually be 10 minutes earlier as my wife gets up then to go to work coaching competitive gymnastics.

Best place to go with family? My son Noah, 3, daughter Luna, 1, and my wife Kimberly really enjoy the beach on a sunny day. That’s where most of our family time is spent.

Favourite place to spend time outdoors?

Besides the beach with my family I enjoy time spent in my back yard where I have a full-size skatepark, in-ground trampoline, sandpit, pool/spa and a putt-putt course.

Local coffee haunt? Nook Espresso in Burleigh. My go-to coffee is a medium long black with a dash of soy milk.

Best spot for a date night? A good Japanese restaurant or anywhere with good seafood! We’re a big fan of Oi Izakaya Japanese restaurant in Burleigh.

Favourite takeaway? We very rarely eat it but probably Domino’s pizza.

Where and when do you exercise?

I just recently completed my home gym in my shed so most of my workouts are in there by myself and I usually workout midafternoon after I’ve had a BMX session.

Best hidden treasure in Queensland?

Snorkelling on Lady Musgrave Island just off the coast of the Town of 1770 was pretty awesome!

Favourite place to holiday in Queensland?

Airlie Beach in the Whitsunday region! I proposed to my wife on a holiday in Airlie Beach in 2018.

What’s your perfect Saturday?

A BMX session for a couple of hours in the morning in my back yard, then time at the beach with my family, followed by an açai bowl. Finishing the day off with an early bedtime for the kids and a movie night with my wife is a pretty standard Saturday but is perfect.
