How uncrowded are the roads now that schools are on holiday. Just proves how few kids go to school on public transport. So if you don’t use public transport as a kid then you are hardly likely to use it when you leave school. Mum and Dad buy you a car and off you go. Our bus network wouldn’t get most people to work on the same day without a cut lunch. So is the tram system just for tourists? And we just have to put up with the inconvenience it brings to our lives? GN

Us hicks aside, reckon visiting folk, would see GC’S still non-existent “light-rail” to major Airport, a huge joke! Their countries sorted that out years ago! So what’s taking you so bloody long GCCC, to keep up with the World???????? Amen

Great to see some common sense in the States where they have jailed the parents of a kid who shot a number of others at school. The parents were held accountable for not intervening in stopping the son when clear signs were evident. We need this to happen with these juvenile offenders. Aren’t parents responsible for their kids until 18 years old? Nip it in the bud at their home not mine. GN

How good is to be a construction worker these days ! Extra moneyfor working on hot days, double time- for working in the rain , extra days off ,- thanks to Leftie Labor and Unions ! So - to build anything today- takes so much longer and costs double- or if it’s a Government project- costs ten fold and luck of infrastructure and housing crisis will continue !
