BURGLARS stole a large amount of expensive wine from a Margaret Street home between 9.45am and 6pm on October 29.
Senior Constable Belinda Crafford said the crime was reported the following day.
The thieves used collapsible bags at the home to take away their haul, which included six Penfold 389s, Penfolds RWTS, a 1973vintage Grange and 10 bottles of 2002-vintage Mosswood.
The value of the wine is being collated.
“They’ve gone through the bedroom and children’s room,” Const Crafford said.
An ipad was taken.
