DAGLISH-BASED bed­li­nen de­signer-re­tailer Bed­tonic is par­tic­i­pat­ing in Bazaar.

The November 30 to De­cem­ber 2 event at Fremantle Arts Cen­tre is a one-stop shop for mar­ket-go­ers to buy lo­cal from some of the most skilled mak­ers in WA.

Daglish res­i­dent Julie Ram­say founded Bed­tonic in mid 2016 and she will show her linen prod­ucts at Bazaar for the first time.

The mother of one de­signs French Flax linen prod­ucts at her Daglish home in­clud­ing bed­ding, loungewear, du­vets, sheet sets, pil­low slips, Euro­pean pil­low cases, table­cloths, baby cot sets and tu­nic wear.

The linen is sourced from a fac­tory in the North East prov­ince of Shang­hai.

“The work that goes into mak­ing linen, some peo­ple for­get, and we’ve be­come so dis­pos­able these days,” she said.

“The process is all about slow fash­ion and I love linen for its health ben­e­fits and en­vi­ron­men­tal sus­tain­abil­ity.”­mu­ni­ d488757
