Goode at the helm

FOR­MER Clare­mont chief ex­ec­u­tive Stephen Goode will take over the reins of the ad­min­is­tra­tion at Mos­man Park coun­cil in an in­terim role for four months.

Mr Goode will guide the Town’s ad­min­is­tra­tion af­ter the de­par­ture of chief ex­ec­u­tive Mark Goodlet, who will leave in Fe­bru­ary for the City of Ned­lands.

“Stephen has decades of lead­er­ship and man­age­ment ex­pe­ri­ence and is very fa­mil­iar with re­gion-wide is­sues we face here in Mos­man Park, in­clud­ing waste man­age­ment and re­cy­cling, trans­port, roads and in­fra­struc­ture and ser­vice de­liv­ery,” Mos­man Park Mayor Brett Pol­lock said.

Mr Goode re­tired from Clare­mont in May.

He takes over at Mos­man Park coun­cil on Fe­bru­ary 25 and will stay on un­til a new chief ex­ec­u­tive is found in a re­cruit­ment process ap­proved by the coun­cil on De­cem­ber 18.

How­ever, his in­terim role will fin­ish on June 19.
