Poldark

Western Times - - TV GUIDE LIFE -

Saturday, abc, 8.15pm

The series Poldark is based on the novels of the same title, published between 1945 and 2002. It’s unclear whether author Winston Graham intended for his books to have a TV series based on them that thrives on star Aidan Turner’s (pictured) intense glowering and flowing locks, however he’d definitely be pleased at how well it has been received. Season four promises to delve into the political landscape of the times as Pitt the Younger calls an election, and also throws a new villain into the mix in the form of Monk Adderley, played by Max Bennett, a slippery politician in league with Ross’s nemesis, George Warleggan.
