ROMA State College was in full voice on Friday night as students sang, danced and performed in front of a packed assembly hall.

There were impressive magic tricks from Aden Culverhouse, as well as skipping performers and a special appearance from local favourites, the Food Fighters.

Event organiser Shari Hirning said the talent night was held every two years, rotating annually with the school production.

“Every year, we’ve tried to do put on a special performance here at the school,” she said.

“Last year was our school production and this year is our talent quest and we’ll continue to rotate through them each year.”

Ms Hirning said she was blown away by the students and their performances throughout the night.

“The whole show was absolutely amazing,” she said.

“I’m just so proud of all the kids tonight and their efforts and it’s amazing to see how talented these students really are,” Ms Hirning said.
