TAMBO QCWA invites one and all to Oktoberfest in Tambo, a celebration of delicious German food and beer.
It’ll be the greatest party in town, with live music, games and prizes for those who step out in their best pair of lederhosen.
Party buses will be rolling in from Blackall but bookings are required.

WARREGO Pony Club is gearing up for a huge sporting gymkhana.
All ages are welcome to join in on their wide variety of events, either riding solo or as a team of three for their feature event: the jackpot team barrel race.
There are prizes on offer, and nominations can be
done on the day, but early nominations are always appreciated by the club. WHEN: October 20 from 7.30am.

ONE of the most anticipated nights of the year is coming up fast.
So frock up and suit up for the Switched On Electrical Hangar Ball.
Tickets have sold out, but those who did snag them will be raising the roof and raising funds for a lifeline in the bush.

ANOTHER fancy affair will be held in Augathella later this month.
This time it is a wine appreciation workshop, followed by an art show, comedy show, and auction.
The quadrella of entertainment is being put on by the Augathella Cultural Association, as part of their drought detox program.
As well as being a bit of fun for everyone in town, the event doubles as a fundraiser to keep Augathella’s cultural services alive.
