Wine time

A fancy af­fair will be held in Au­gathella later this month: a wine ap­pre­ci­a­tion work­shop, fol­lowed by an art show, com­edy show, and auc­tion.

The quadrella of entertainment is be­ing put on by the Au­gathella Cul­tural As­so­ci­a­tion as part of their drought detox pro­gram.

As well as be­ing a bit of fun for ev­ery­one in town, the event dou­bles as a fundraiser to keep Au­gathella’s cul­tural ser­vices alive. WHEN: Oc­to­ber 27 WHERE: Au­gathella Ru­ral Trans­ac­tion Cen­tre

Mu­sic un­der the stars

Go­ing out on a Mon­day night has never been so ex­cit­ing. The Aus­tralian Army Band, Ris­ing Suns, is com­ing to town and they will be play­ing un­der the stars at the Cos­mos Cen­tre in Charleville – per­fect for spread­ing a pic­nic blan­ket and en­joy­ing the sausage siz­zle. Golf for the kids

Term four has started at school, and at the Charleville Golf Club too, where it is hold­ing clin­ics from now through to De­cem­ber.

Jump in the pool

Sum­mer is heat­ing up, and the Cun­na­mulla Abo­rig­i­nal Cor­po­ra­tion for Health is tak­ing this op­por­tu­nity to of­fer par­ent and baby swim­ming lessons for the lit­tlest fam­ily mem­bers.
