A Department of Human Services mobile service centre is making its way around the southwest.
Staff will be able to help with Centrelink, Medicare, Veterans’ Affairs, and accessing online services.
There will also be a Farm Household case officer and social worker who to help with Farm Households Allowance claims.

Take a swing in the mid-season
AS a fun way of celebrating the mid-season, Charleville Softball Association is holding a Friday night fun night.
The usual suspects will be there for a series of friendly games, and will be welcoming any individuals who want to have a hit along with them.
A fund raising barbecue will be sizzling away to feed hungry players while also raising some dough for the club.

Rural Day Off for farming families
DROUGHT Angels is coming to Morven in early December to provide a different kind of relief to farming families in the area.
The Rural Day Off will invite families for a day off the property, where Drought Angels will take care of food, entertainment and a bit of self-care for the day. WHERE: Morven.

Christmas lights tour of town
IT’S BACK for a jolly good time in 2018 – the 4RRFM Charleville Christmas Light competition and tour.
Those interested are asked to meet at 4RRFM on the corner of Wills and Edward streets, Charleville, at 6.30pm to join in the convoy tour.
4RRFM will be broadcasting live as it leads the tour.
