Car­ols in the Do­main, Seven, Satur­day at 8pm

EACH year, an es­ti­mated 50,000 peo­ple pack into Syd­ney’s The Do­main and set up on the grass for a night of singing, fire­works and other fes­tive en­ter­tain­ment. Now in its 36th year, Car­ols

in the Do­main will fea­ture per­for­mances by Troy Cas­sar-Da­ley, Saman­tha Jade, Isa­iah Fire­brace, Thirsty Merc, Paulini, Ross Wil­son, Mark Vin­cent, Penny McNamee and The Tap Pack as well as ap­pear­ances by The Wig­gles, Mickey Mouse and the jolly man him­self.

The cast of Char­lie and the

Choco­late Fac­tory also per­form a num­ber from the new Roald Dahl mu­si­cal, giv­ing view­ers a sneak peek be­fore it opens at Syd­ney’s Capi­tol The­atre on Jan­uary 5.

Sun­rise’s David Koch, Saman­tha Armytage and Natalie Barr (pic­tured) host this evening of good­will.
