Why no XR8 Sprint?
Firstly, because it costs 20 grand less than a Clubsport LSA, which is already half the price of the C63 S in this test. And secondly because the ageing Ford would’ve been a bit out of its league in this company. The Sprint is all about great-value toughness, backed up by a whole lotta horsepower. It’s Ford’s finest-ever XR8, as we discovered on our mega drive this issue, not an AMG challenger.
