Formula E pulls rank on electric F1 rumour

Ross Brawn’s recent speculation in an ESPN interview that F1 could soon go electric in order to remain relevant has drawn the ire of Formula E boss Alejandro Agag. “The earliest Formula 1 could go electric is 2039,” he snorted, citing an exclusivity agreement with the FIA. Unable to resist a sly dig, he then added,”after seeing how Formula E is growing I can understand that some people in Formula 1 are thinking to go full electric.”
