Mode enhancer

For a car with non-adaptive suspension, the Megane RS280 has a dizzying array of set-up options in the touchscreen’s ‘Perso’ mode. Within this menu, you get to tailor the dynamic driving system, the ESC response, the transmission, the throttle mapping, the exhaust and induction sounds, the climate control power draw, the digital displays, and the interior ambient lighting. Most of these selections then lead you to a three or four option sub-menu. Given all this choice, it’s a shame that the Megane doesn’t get steering wheel buttons to quickly access user-assigned favourite modes.
