Kona goes down

-

Hyundai is continuing to roll out other models running its bargain-basement Go spec level, first introduced with the i30, then Tucson. Now Kona gets the treatment, mostly sharing the same strippedback level of equipment that even includes steelies with wheel covers. That, along with a plastic steering wheel, are downsides. But the upside is a $1000-cheaper base price versus before, with the Kona Go asking $23,500 plus on-roads. The former base Kona Active moves up by $1000 to $25,500, but, along with standard alloy wheels, it now adds an 8.0inch touchscreen including integrated satellite navigation and DAB+, along with eightspeaker audio – now added to Elite and Highlander, too.
