Idly sitting in traffic on the way into work, I was given to admiring the rear three-quarter view of a three-door 2012 Kia Rio, before the penny dropped and I realised that both the Rio and the Velar’s lines were the work of the same person, Massimo Frascella, who’s resume also covers stints at Bertone and Ford.
