The unmistakable profile of Mt Fuji jutting dramatically from relatively featureless surroundings has got to be one of the most captivating sights in the natural world, but thanks to the unpredictable climate, it’s only visible on average 43 days in each year. We were lucky however, and the enchanting mountain did make an incomplete appearance on two occasions. On the second, when just the summit peered out from above the cloud and surreally towered above us, videographer Josh probably described it best. “It doesn’t look like it should be there,” he said.
