Acadia’s dash elevates functionality over style but gels well anyway. No rival offers as much space for seven. Middle row feels vast due to flat floor, with all vital modern amenities present. Secret storage compartments abound. But Us-centric middle-row seat split is disappointing, as is substandard build and trim quality. Usfavoured SAE (volume measurement) capacity varies from 292 litres to 1042L in five-seater mode and 2102L in two-seater guise; towing capacity is 2000kg and the spare is a spacesaver that’s tricky to access. Ground clearance is 203mm.
