ONE YOU BUILT EARLIER?
The LT4 is part of Chevrolet’s Gen V family of small-block engines first introduced in 1995. LT4 V8s are built in two locations – Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Tonawanda Engine Plant in New York. At Bowling Green, every LT4 is assembled by hand by a single worker. Or, for Corvette Z06 owners willing to pay US$5000, they can (alongside a Chevy technician) build the LT4 engine destined for their car.
