The mild frontier
You may well have heard talk of a mild hybrid system for the latest Evoque. Unfortunately, as it stands, it’ll only be fitted to the flagship P300 model and you’ll have to wait until late next year. Until then, we’ll need to make do with the 12V electrical architecture and its uncouth idle-stop system. Debuting alongside the 48V Evoque P300 will be a three-cylinder plug-in hybrid, a news story Wheels scooped way back in September 2017.
