Our current favourite sub-$25K light car, the Swift would wipe the floor with the MG3, exceeding it in key areas of safety, refinement, dynamics, comfort and efficiency. Warranty (it’s down by two years) and obviously price are its only key disadvantages. In fact, 2020’s Series II facelift takes the fight right up to Europe’s best, setting a value benchmark that is currently unchallenged. Goals for the next-gen MG3 perhaps?
