VOLVO XC40 RECHARGE

The 2019 Wheels Car of the Year is going electric. By mid-year we should see Sweden’s XC40 Recharge EV landing in Australia, with drive to all four wheels from a combined 300kW/600Nm from two electric motors. Claimed range is more than 400km from its 78kWh battery, with a sprint to 100km/h taking 4.9 seconds. We’re expecting a price tag near $75,000.
