Cel­e­brate the bur­geon­ing Queens­land film in­dus­try at the 16th an­nual Gold Coast Film Fes­ti­val (GCFF). Over 100 film and film-re­lated events will be show­cased over the 13-day fes­ti­val in an ac­tion-packed pro­gram. The Fes­ti­val will pre­miere screen­ings of some of the lat­est fea­ture films from around the world, boast­ing a com­bi­na­tion of Aus­tralian indie gems, Euro­pean dra­mas, fas­ci­nat­ing fea­tures, en­gag­ing doc­u­men­taries and in­trigu­ing Amer­i­can art­house films. The fa­mous event will also trans­form iconic Surfers Par­adise beach into a vi­brant out­door cin­ema on 22 April to screen a se­ries of 10-minute cin­e­matic mas­ter­pieces created by emerg­ing film­mak­ers from around the coun­try.
