Ban­garra Dance Theatre presents its lat­est work, “OUR land peo­ple sto­ries”, show­cas­ing the in­fi­nite sto­ries of Aus­tralia’s cul­tural her­itage. Experience the un­for­get­table power of con­tem­po­rary Abo­rig­i­nal dance with the in­ter­na­tion­ally her­alded Ban­garra in a triple bill of three per­sonal and pro­found works. The stun­ning paint­ings of Yir­rkala artist Nya­pa­nyapa Yunupingu are brought to life in “Nya­pa­nyapa”, Wi­rad­juri fam­ily re­la­tion­ships and kin­ship ex­plored in “Miya­gan” and the two sides of Syd­ney’s Gov­er­nor Mac­quarie un­cov­ered in “Macq”.
