On Sharks & Humanity at the ANMM

Where Sydney - - The Guide | Sights -

Opening this month at the Australian National Maritime Museum is “On Sharks & Humanity”, an internationally acclaimed art exhibition with a strong message about environmental protection and sharks. Works from more than 30 artists are united in their need to protect sharks. Artworks include largescale indoor and outdoor installations, photography, paintings, drawings, performance, poetry, video and sculpture from a host of international artists. The exhibition engages in a thoughtprovoking discussion about global environmental issues and their impact on the delicate balance of marine life, especially sharks. From 11 December, Australian National Maritime Museum, 2 Murray Street, Darling Harbour. 9298 3777. anmm.gov.au/sharks
