GOLF: A beau­ti­fully mild morn­ing greeted a group of 32 Whit­sun­day golfers last Sun­day as they teed off for a two-ball am­brose with the course in great con­di­tion and some ex­cel­lent play to match.

Scotty Wardroper and Pauline Red­path had a sen­sa­tional day with 73 off the stick to take the win on net 59.25, with the other placeget­ters close be­hind.

Ritchie Atkins and Ri­cardo Tauri were on form for the NTPs, win­ning on the 2nd and 9th, and An­thony Gwal­ter and Danny York took fourth place and the NTP on the 16th. Winners Pauline Red­path and Scotty Wardroper on 59.25. Run­ners-up Dean Barnard and Ross McNeill on 62.5 on a count

back.
