Heat is ris­ing and so too the qual­ity of lo­cal ten­nis play

TEN­NIS WHIT­SUN­DAY:

Tues­day early evening so­cial ten­nis was a blast last Tues­day.

Num­bers may have been down with a few of our reg­u­lars away, but the ten­nis was awe­some.

Well done to Reece Dun­lop and Max Porter.

In Tues­day night so­cial ten­nis the tem­per­a­ture had dropped but the ten­nis was sear­ing.

Anna and Tad and Rhi­anna and Chris had a bonzer of a game.

There was no other word for it Wed­nes­day morn­ing was a siz­zler, tem­per­a­ture wise and ten­nis wise.

Ra­lene and Gerda had the guys on the ropes.

Never mind Rex and Wil­son - next time!

Wed­nes­day evening the squads worked on fore­hands and did a fan­tas­tic job. Jack­son Stokes and William Smith gave it their most on the night.

Thurs­day night four in­trepid play­ers turned up for a won­der­ful evening of so­cial ten­nis.

Mixed dou­bles was the or­der of the evening. Ryan part­nered Anna while Tad part­nered Rhi­anna.

There were fan­tas­tic ral­lies and great ca­ma­raderie.

Fri­day Brekky was a sunny af­fair with Jas­mine and Emelia danc­ing round the court, hit­ting ten­nis ball af­ter ten­nis ball.

Fri­day morn­ing Fit, fun ten­nis the up­beat car­dio work­out on a ten­nis court was a slow go.

It was just toooo .... hot. Satur­day morn­ing Early Birds just can't be stopped with a to­tal of six ladies in at­ten­dance.

Just Do it Ju­nior Ten­nis is in re­cess un­til 2019, how­ever if you would like to take your chil­dren for a hit, please ring to hire a court.

I don't know how they did it with the ex­treme heat but Satur­day so­cial ten­nis went ahead as per usual.

They are a tough won­der­ful bunch of peo­ple!!

Coach­ing pupil of the week was Toby on Thurs­day af­ter­noon for work­ing on his serve.
