Andy’s calling all sporty kids
BETTE Midler and Brooke Shields make two star-studded cameos in back-to-back episodes.
Murphy’s worst-ever secretary (Midler, pictured) turns up out of nowhere just before a lifetime achievement gala in Jim Dial’s honour.
She’s now CNC’s largest shareholder after inheriting her late husband’s stocks and has big plans for livening up the brand.
Meanwhile, 10 years ago Corky’s beauty pageant friend Holly (Shields) took a tumble down the stairs which caused her to fall into a deep coma.
Finally, she’s awake but is struggling to remember that fateful night. The gang takes turns at Holly’s hospital bedside waiting for her memory to return so that they can find out what really happened. After all, true crime stories are ratings gold. Smashdown, Go!, Monday at 8am
HOST Andy Sunderland and comedy commentary duo Michael Balk (Glen Goosebump) and Briana Goodchild (Glenda Goosebump) will be joined by sporty kid-competitors to find Australia’s best junior all-rounder.
Hosting a children’s sport show comes naturally to larrikin Sunderland (pictured), 28, a favourite from The Block in 2016 and a roving reporter on Nine’s Kids’ WB.
Sunderland will give viewers an all-access pass to the most interactive sports venue on the planet, featuring all-star-athlete cameos, off-the-wall physical challenges and a feast of sports trivia.
From the locker room to the lab, to the field and the laundry, no area of sport is off limits.
