STUART DIVER: ‘I’m going to live life’

-

Stuart Diver’s wife, Sally, who was lying in bed next to her ski-instructor husband when the landslide struck, was pinned under a concrete beam and drowned when water flooded the area. “I sometimes go back to the moment Sally died,” Diver told WHO in 2013. The 47-year-old, who is now the operations manager at the Thredbo ski resort, remarried in 2002 to Rosanna and in 2010 they had a daughter, Alessia. Tragically, Rosanna, 48, died after a battle with breast cancer in 2015. “I mean, you can sit here and be miserable,” Diver told 60 Minutes this year. “But at some point you have to make a decision: ‘I’m going to live life.’ ”
