A STYLISH GUIDE TO MILAN
The third stop on the international fashion week schedule is Milan. We asked Cheryl Centen [right], David Jones’ Womenswear Buyer, to tell us her favourite places to unwind while she’s visiting Milan on one of her frequent buying trips. COFFEE STOP I like to enjoy a quick cappuccino in the Corso Como 10 courtyard, it’s a great place to take a quick break in between showings TOP MILANESE BRAND For me it has always been all about Dolce & Gabbana [left]. I love visiting their showroom. I am always mesmerised by the collections and the vibrancy of their iconic prints. WANDER THROUGH Navigli, a local neighbourhood along the oldest canal in Milan. You’ll find great little laneways and cobblestone paths with a long stretch of cool cafés and bars. EAT AT I always try to find the most authentic trattoria – my favourite to date is a family run restaurant called Le Specialità. Its simple and cosy but they make the most delicious pizza in Milan. Definitely worth a visit.
