Five years after a car accident resulted in his tragic death, Paul Walker’s family and closest friends have spoken about his legacy in this new documentary. As his nearest and dearest share their favourite stories of him, it’s clear that The Fast and the Furious star was much more than just an actor. In fact, he was a philanthropist, a keen surfer and lover of the ocean (once admitting to his mum he wanted to quit acting to be a marine biologist), an environmentalist, a car enthusiast and a devoted father to his daughter, Meadow. In the words of his own father, Walker was “the nicest man on foot” and no doubt this documentary was one of his family’s final steps in finding relief. It’s a beautiful ode to his short yet adventure-filled life – establishing he wasn’t on a downward spiral before his death – and its tender tone will no doubt prompt tears.
