FEARS FOR THE RAPPER AFTER WACKY WHITE HOUSE RANT
KANYE WEST’S BIZARRE WHITE HOUSE MEETING WITH President Donald Trump last week has sparked serious concerns for his health and has angered a host of celebrities who have threatened to cut ties with the controversial rapper over his comments.
Wearing a red Make America Great Again cap, the erratic Grammy-winner, 41, launched into a 10-minute rant in the Oval Office ahead of a private lunch with Trump, his daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, speaking about social policy, why he feels like Superman when he wears his MAGA cap, racism, how he was going to convince Apple to “work on” a hydrogen-powered plane, and his support for the US president, who he declared was on his “hero’s journey right now”. Following the spectacle, the pair hugged it out with Trump telling stunned reporters the father-of-three was a “smart cookie” who could very well be a future presidential candidate.
However, not everyone was impressed with a slew of celebrities angrily condemning West’s White House antics, including fellow rapper T.I., who says he is “officially done” with his former colleague.
“This is the most repulsive, disgraceful, embarrassing act of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen,” T.I. wrote in a lengthy Instagram post on Oct. 12. “At one time it was a pleasure to work alongside you … now, I’m ashamed to have ever been associated with you.” •
