VERONICAS WEDDING Lisa Origliasso ties the knot with actor Logan Huffman
After four years together, one half of The Veronicas has married the love of her life in an intimate lakeside wedding
She rose to fame in 2005 after forming music duo The Veronicas with her twin sister Jessica, and has since co-written and released several hit tracks. Now, Lisa Origliasso, 33, has made headlines once again after tying the knot with long-time boyfriend Logan Huffman, 28.
The edgy brunette and the American actor said their vows at Secrets On the Lake in Queensland after V star Huffman popped the question in late 2016. Taking to Instagram in January 2017 to announce their engagement, Origliasso posted a heartfelt tribute alongside a photo of her customised diamond ring. “Only he who truly knows me, could design something that could so flawlessly capture the essence of who I am and what this means to me,” the singer wrote on Jan. 2, 2017. “It symbolically represents a love that is ancient, indestructible & powerful.” Celebrating their engagement with close family and friends on April 2, 2017, Origliasso shared an Instagram video of their celebratory food. “Today my sweet baby [Jess] catered [Logan’s] and my engagement party with the dreamiest vegan grazing table, hand picking and arranging every single part of it herself,” she wrote. “I am the luckiest girl in the universe to have my two by my side.” Prior to topping the charts with their singles “4Ever” in 2005 and “Untouched” in 2007, The Veronicas had been signed to Australian record company Excalibur Productions, for which they co-wrote No. 1 hits for other artists, including “All About Us” by Russian music duo

The singer began dating Huffman in 2014 and the pair were photographed cuddling up to each other while out and about in Los Angeles. The following year, Huffman starred in The Veronicas’ dark music video for “Cruel” – a song written about a break-up.
Almost a year after his proposal, Huffman uploaded an image of himself and Origliasso at a marriage equality rally after legislation was passed to allow same-sex couples marry. He wrote on Nov. 15, 2017, “YES! Congratulations Australia!” Origliasso commented on his post saying, “Let’s plan a wedding now,” giving the impression the pair may have been holding off on the big day until the law passed. Origliasso’s sister Jess has been open about her sexuality and had a high-profile relationship with Orange is the New Black actress Ruby Rose, whom she dated from 2016 until April this year.
On Nov. 19, 2017, Huffman posted a tribute to his fiancé. “The first time I saw Lisa Marie smile, I knew I was in trouble. In that one moment everything seemed to stand still,” he wrote alongside an image of the pair with their engagement rings. “I will always protect you. And I will always love you.”
On their special day, Origliasso and Huffman opted for wedding attire to reflect their personalities. The bride wore a thick-strapped gown with a plunging neckline, paired with a structured white floral headpiece decorated with leather and intricate beading. She is known for her love of headpieces and even posted a video on Oct. 16 with red floral headwear of a similar style, captioned, “Brideto-be-style activated.” Her groom sported a 1920s look with a black vest, waistcoat and top hat. Huffman is no stranger to formal wear, often choosing tuxedos with suspenders for shoots and public appearances. The couple uploaded several photos to Instagram in the lead-up to their nuptials. On Oct. 12, Huffman shared a black-and-white picture of himself and his wife-to-be. “Next time it’s forever,” he captioned the moody image. “Falling madly madly madly in love with you more and more every day,” Origliasso posted on Aug. 10. “I still don’t know how I got lucky enough to keep you forever, babe.” On Nov. 6, Origliasso shared a photo from the big day, writing, “This past weekend I got to marry the man of my dreams. In the dress of my dreams.”

The bride told Vogue, “My French and Italian ancestries played a big part in choosing the fabrics and intricate details of my veil and accessories.”
Origliasso needed a team to adjust her gown and veil before walking down the aisle. The bridal party wore white and blush pink to complement the bride’s dress.
A look of love: Origliasso wrote on Sept. 5, 2017, “He has my heart forever.”
Origliasso made sure to keep her makeup flawless, getting touch-ups throughout the day.
