The former 30 Rock star is perfectly cast as Tray Barker, who struggles to get to grips with how life has moved on without him when he’s released following 15 years in jail. Morgan brings his unique brand of dazed and confused comic timing to this series, which works best when it makes amusing observations about the changes to black culture and less well when it devolves into slapstick. Tiffany Haddish co-stars as Tray’s moved-on ex.
