On paper, Car­rie Fisher forged a suc­cess­ful ca­reer af­ter wrap­ping When Harry Met Sally… that in­cluded movies, TV ap­pear­ances and writ­ing both screen­plays and nov­els. But the tal­ented ac­tress, di­rec­tor and writer wasn’t with­out hard­ship; her daugh­ter Bil­lie re­vealed that Fisher bat­tled drug ad­dic­tion and men­tal ill­ness her en­tire life. Fisher trag­i­cally died at the age of 60 from a car­diac ar­rest, but re­ports re­vealed she had co­caine in her sys­tem as well as traces of heroin, other opi­ates and MDMA.

Fisher fa­mously played Princess Leia in the Star Wars movies.
