MKR is back for Season 10. Here are the latest teams set to stir up drama both in and out of the kitchen

You’ve never met anyone like the first group of contestants to compete in the 10th anniversary season of My Kitchen Rules. With each year becoming more dramatic, competitive and entertaining than the last, it didn’t seem possible that the Seven Network could find a bunch of home cooks that would shock Australia. But the naysayers have been proven wrong – this bunch is filled to the brim with some of the most memorable contestants the series has ever seen. While the show is yet to air, the most controversial team appears to be homeschooled brothers Josh and Austin. The Sydney siblings are slated to be the most honest, cutthroat contestants in the 10-year history of the show. Unlike pot-stirrers and “villains” before them, Josh and Austin don’t just talk a big game to the camera – they say exactly what everyone’s thinking, and right to their face. “We know that we are going get hate,” Josh, 24, admits to WHO. “We’re not here to please anyone. We’re here to cook and have an opinion. So that’s what we’re going to do.” Children of missionaries, the deeply religious brothers were home-schooled by their American-born mother. With a fascinating backstory unlike any other MKR contestants before them, it’s safe to say these two will bring a unique type of drama to the table. A sneak peek shows Josh addressing rivals at an Instant Restaurant table, telling him what he really thought of them when they first met. “[I thought] you were a lesbian and that was your gay best friend,” he tells a married couple before turning on another contestant. “[And I thought] you were the plastic chick who brought along a friend to make yourself look prettier!” And this is just a taster of what is to come! So, buckle up, MKR fans, it’s going to be one hell of a ride. ‘My Kitchen Rules’ starts Jan. 28 on Channel 7 at 7.30pm.
