JESSIKA ‘I’M SO SORRY, TAMARA’

Perth-born Jessika Power has found herself in a bit of hot water – she’s no longer attracted to husband Mick and lying to fellow bride Tamara after chasing a romance with her MAFS groom, Daniel Webb. “When Dan walked into that dinner party I was instantly attracted to him physically and then as the party went on and we were able to chat we connected on more of an emotional level. And I found myself opening up to him on topics I hadn’t even felt comfortable to discuss with Mick,” she tells WHO. “I realise he wanted the same things that I wanted – he was looking for somebody he could build a life with and he shared a lot of the same values and qualities that I had.” Even still, her new-found happiness has come with remorse. “I am truly sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone’s feelings. I never would want to go against girl code, especially to Tamara! She was always so lovely to me. I never wanted to ever hurt Mick’s feelings either – so that’s what I want to clear up.”

She went on MAFS in the hope of finding everlasting love, and eventually a baby daddy, but for Tamara Joy, who was paired with single dad of one Daniel Webb, that dream was short-lived as her groom was busted kissing fellow bride Jessika Power. “I want a family really bad,” Tamara tells WHO. The 29-year-old, who lost her own mother to motor neurone disease a few years ago, says that she just wants to replicate the relationship she once had with her mum. “My mum was the best mother. My goal in life is to be even close to her to how she was as a mother. She’s my idol and if I could be the sort of mum she was, it would make my dreams come true.” Although Webb claimed “Tamara would be perfect as a stepmum,” that hasn’t seemed to get the couple over the line. In fact, when asked what she expects from the father of her future children, Tamara assures WHO she’s not interested in time-wasters. “[I’m not interested] in the looks. That’s just wishy-washy stuff. However, the person I would need to end up with would need to be kind and caring and very understanding. I think that’s also something that is very hard to find in a man. They don’t have a lot of patience.”
