The notoriously private couple have officially cut ties

AFTER SIX YEARS OF ENJOYING a relatively low-key relationship, Hollywood stars Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have broken up. “Jamie and Katie split over a month ago,” a music entertainment source tells WHO.

An insider revealed to Us Weekly that Holmes was the one to cut ties with her long-time love.

The news comes after Foxx, 51, was photographed holding hands with singer Sela Vave – the record producer’s newest artist – as they left a Los Angeles nightclub together.

“She’s just a girl he’s helping out, a young singer,” a source tells WHO.

Page Six also reported that Holmes, 40, was overheard telling a friend of the break-up over dinner in New York City. “What Jamie does is his business – we haven’t been together for months,” Holmes allegedly said.

Despite the pair never publicly confirming their relationship, Holmes and Foxx have

been linked since 2013. In April, a month before they posed hand-in-hand at the Met Gala, a source told WHO that Foxx and Holmes tried to make time for each other as much as possible. “When they can spend time together, they do. When they’re busy and they can’t, they don’t. They are two adults who enjoy each other’s company and have for a long time,” the insider said.

In January, another source told WHO of the couple’s work-life balance. “They have known each other for years, and both turned out to be great parents, so they also have that in common,” the source shared. “They are dedicated to their careers. Plus they give each other space.”

In recent months, Vave has posted multiple photos with Foxx to Instagram. “I am so grateful to this man!” she captioned a recent photo of the two. “Thank you so much @iamjamiefoxx for everything you do and for believing in me.”
