ACTRESS BLAKE LIVELY BLEW out 32 candles on August 25 and to celebrate, her husband of seven years Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram to wish his wife a happy birthday. Alongside a series of never-before-seen candid photos of his wife, who is pregnant with their third child, Reynolds wrote: “Happy Birthday, @blakelively.” While a heavily pregnant Lively appears to be smiling in the photos, the Deadpool actor’s hilarious post did not go unnoticed as in nearly all of the photos, the birthday girl’s eyes are closed or looking away from the camera. In May, the happy couple announced they were expecting their third child while at the New York City premiere of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu. Lively stepped out wearing a yellow dress which hugged her growing baby bump. Reynolds and Lively are already parents to 4-year-old daughter James and 2-year-old

Although they’re natural jokesters, Reynolds previously told WHO he and Lively take their family unit very seriously – admitting they won’t work on big projects at the same time in order to keep their family together. “Blake and I don’t do movies at the same time. If she is doing a movie in Thailand and I am doing a movie in Vancouver we would just never see each other. We operate as a unit, and that works really well for us,” Reynolds said. “The kids stay with us, and the family stays together, and that is where home is. So, if we are in Spain or Utah or New York, as long as we are together, we’re home.” Despite the fact that Reynolds is currently outnumbered, that doesn’t mean he’s hoping for a boy this time around. “Having a daughter was a dream come true for me. If I could have nine daughters, I would be thrilled. Really, like I genuinely would be,” he told WHO in 2016.
