Attending their grandmother’s funeral, the Hadid siblings lean on their loved ones
BEFORE THEY HIT UP NEW YORK Fashion Week, supermodel siblings Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid had a more sombre occasion to attend to, travelling to Rotterdam, Netherlands for the funeral of their grandmother, Ans van den Herik, on September 4.
Gigi’s new beau, Tyler Cameron, 26, runner-up on the US version of The Bachelorette, wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked into the service alongside Bella and Anwar, 20, who was accompanied by his famous girlfriend, pop star Dua Lipa, 24. Cameron’s presence at the family affair, also attended by van den Herik’s daughter, former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid, speaks to how close he and Gigi, 24, have grown since they were first photographed together at SoHo House in Brooklyn in early August. At an afterparty for the MTV Video Music Awards, Hadid brought Cameron along and, according to E! News, her pal Taylor Swift gave him “a big hug” when he arrived, and “Tyler and Gigi shared a kiss’’.
A source recently told WHO the duo are “being purposefully coy” when it comes to the status of their relationship. “Their dates are definitely real and he’s having a good time,” the source added. A second insider said Cameron isn’t shy about the publicity surrounding his relationship with Gigi.
“Tyler lives in NYC now. He has his own place, but for their dates, they hang out at Gigi’s,” the source told WHO.
“He is very public about going in and out of her place – you can tell that he wants to be seen. He is enjoying the attention he gets for dating Gigi.”
