taste in men when it comes to choosing her real-life lover! The Netflix show’s star, 25, is reportedly seeing Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson, 27, with the unlikely pair spotted on a series of outings in the UK.
An onlooker in the village of Caverswall in England witnessed the pair walking down the street together looking very much loved up. “They were holding hands, hugging and seemed like they were a couple,” witness Tilly Wagg told Page Six on March 26. “They seemed happy together.”
A few days prior to the sighting, it was reported that Davidson had flown from New York City to Dynevor’s hometown in the UK. He was snapped in Altrincham in Greater Manchester on March 21, where the Bridgerton actress has been staying with her mum during the pandemic. “Pete is a real charmer and has hit it off with Phoebe, who is obviously beautiful and talented,” an insider told The Sun of the blossoming romance. “The fact he has flown all the way to the UK shows how interested he is.”
While they are yet to confirm their romance, insiders say the couple met while Dynevor was in New York City earlier this year to shoot scenes for the final season of Younger. “They have been enjoying each other’s company, although they haven’t known each other long,” adds the insider.
The comedian is no stranger to dating in the spotlight. The King of Staten Island star has enjoyed high-profile romances with actresses Kate Beckinsale and Margaret Qualley, model Kaia Gerber and even a brief engagement to singer Ariana Grande. “I love being in a relationship,” Davidson shared in February 2020. “I love doing stuff and Netflixing and hanging out, going out to dinner. I love that s--t. It makes me really happy. Also it’s an escape from life when you have, like, a partner. It’s nice to have a lady around.”
Dynevor, on the other hand, has kept her previous relationships with recruitment executive Simon Merrill and actor Sean Teale relatively low-key. However, earlier this year she was forced to deny rumours that her Bridgerton on-screen romance had spilled off-screen. “I’d love to say there was really something between us,” she revealed of co-star Page. “But no, it has always been strictly professional.”
After Davidson’s string of dalliances, he admitted last year he was taking a break from relationships. “Unless I meet the love of my life,” he added. So could Dynevor be the Daphne to Davidson’s Simon? •
