MEGHAN & HARRY – WHAT’S NEXT?

-

He’s struggled to find a purpose since he left the British Army in 2015. But now Prince Harry has landed two new roles in one week.

San Francisco-based coaching and wellness start-up BetterUp Inc announced on March 24 they had appointed the duke as their new chief impact officer. “I intend to help create impact in people’s lives,” the prince said in a statement about the role. “Proactive coaching provides endless possibilities for personal development, increased awareness and an all-round better life.”

A day later, it was also revealed he will be joining the fight against misinformation in today’s digital world by teaming up with the Aspen Institute for a six-month study. “As I’ve said, the experience of today’s digital world has us inundated with an avalanche of misinformation, affecting our ability as individuals as well as society’s to think clearly and truly understand the world we live in,” he explained in a statement.

While there has been no word on his salaries for the roles, industry insiders have suggested it is likely Harry was given equity in BetterUp Inc, which is valued at over $2 billion.

Harry and Meghan also signed lucrative content creator deals with Netflix and Spotify last year, which are estimated to be worth up to $260 million. They have released just one podcast on December 16, but more content is expected this year.

The couple are also “overjoyed” to be expecting a daughter in late June or July, so they definitely have more then enough on to keep them busy.
